Mystic Forest Dizzy (HELP THREAD)

aah this was a lovely surprise jamie after expecting nothing from the master, lovely graphics and colouring, played for a little while now and finding it hard but that could be wedding fever or perhaps cause i'm a little tipsy [hic] so dizzy's getting plenty of snoozes while i wait to work things out, won't as for help yet though will persevere for a bit longer - oh and i burnt the poor lifeguard but he did give me a good slap for doing that {yolkfolk}
i'm knackered now been running around for ages with these:
some climbing rope, some juggling balls, a bee sting and a fishing net
which don't work anywhere that is open to me.
can't gather enough stars to get the axe yet and just keep dying in the water trying to do something there with those numbered fish? what do those numbers mean? but had a lot of fun trying everything everywhere, thank god for the save like the way that works {yolkfolk}:animwink:
Think you must be further on than me.
I've got:-Venus Fly Trap, Jug of Water, Climbing Rope, Fishing Net & Some Juggling Balls (think this one might be the red herring due to Dizzy doing the juggling with them)
Think I know where to use the Venus Fly Trap where the beehive is but because it's night time I can't use as the bee isn't there. Presume that's how you got the bee sting maybe which I haven't got yet.
Is there something I have to do first to get back to daylight ?
Oh I wonder if the fishes are scoring Dizzy's dive into the water lol.
yeah maybe thats what those fish are doing cause the numbers have gone up!!!!! the only item you've got that i've used is the venus fly trap and it was daylight - absolutely no idea how it changes from day to night - the jug of water is to put the fire out by the scientist you gave the lighter to, maybe try doing that and it'll go to daylight {dizzy}:frown:

Translate the clock on your computer.
Some subjects work only at night, and some only during the day. And even only in twilight!

Seriously, the game links to actual 'real time' ? Not really wanting to be messing with my comp time even if it is, will have to wait till morning, clever stuff though if does.
wow how clever is that {yolkfolk}:yahoo: {yolkfolk}:yahoo: {yolkfolk}:yahoo: go ahead lordy it really works {yolkfolk}:yahoo:

Yes.
The bar works 16.00 - 01.00
The shop works 09.00 - 17.30
Check what time the clock tower shows once you've fixed it

Cheat!
Seriously tho, I can't stop you doing that, and I know most people will take advantage of that. I still wanted to do it though - tying the game into 'real time' was one of the very first ideas I had for this game
sorry jamie didn't know it was a cheat  serves me right it didn't do anything to help me anyway so if you could see your way to giving me a little help perhaps i won't do it again {yolkfolk}:raspy:

Ok i've checked the clock & yes it's the correct time, now i've changed my comp time and suddenly it's daylight again & updates to real time. Well if this isn't the most impressive new unique feature to be introduced then I don't know what is. Well amazed !!! {yolkfolk}
Will change it back & wait for tomorrow.
EDITS:- It all gone dark again lol...well i'm stunned with that !!
Well you all seem to be getting on rather better than expected, so I think I'm going to leave you to it and get some sleep!
That clock stuff will be a pain then, if you can only do certain things at certain times of the day and can't progress until it's daylight again.. but then you might not know this and spend the next few hours trying during the night when in fact you can't do anything until the day. sounds like I'm going to have to change my clock every 5 minutes then. Never play during the day so I'll never get that shop open.
while impressive it doesn't sound very practical.. :x_x:

Yes I was thinking that as well, as means I can't play now until the correct daylight hours & so on etc..

oh bugger i planned on having a late night play - no work tomorrow - oh well i'll just have to be patient till then perhaps something will come to me in my dreams {yolkfolk}
Anyway I've read things about dizzy sleeping or juggeling...the only think I've been able to do with those balls is offer then to denzil. lol
a few points:
-- yes, Yolkfolk to the rescue was first with images in inventory, however this game is first with images and text
-- only about a fifth of the puzzles are time-specific, and they all have quite a wide 'window' of time in which they work in. They are also all 'signposted' so you have an idea of which they are and when you can do them (e.g. the shop/bar and the nature puzzles). You shouldn't therefore have to change your computer time 'every 5 mins'. I'm not cruel!
-- I did call quiggie a cheat for changing her comp time, but I actually really don't mind. I realise that waiting around will be too frustrating for some of you!
-- There are quite a few things (in addition to puzzles) which are time sensitive, and you may also notice that daylight hours are also affected by what time of the year you play the game.
-- as a small hint for some of you, try reading the second 'nature trail' sign again

Yes this immediately came to mind last night & I wondered if it did that as well is quite remarkable indeed !! Is it linked to Google Earth lol..
Started again this morning, other than acquiring the bee sting now, gaining access to the shop & progressing to 24 Stars am totally stuck with the few items I mentioned previously.
