A Pirate's Life Dizzy (HELP THREAD)

Incidentally I still haven't finished this... anyone able to tell me what I need to do to complete it?

I have:

scuba gear
lantern
cutting snips (used twice)
dagger
hatchet
pewter mug
slippers (used)
devils teeth
penny (used)

all I have left is Leo, and two scroll pieces to get. I have 17 Pieces of Eight.

From what you have left Jamie, it seems like you should have triggered a locked door to open.

nope, it's still locked as far as I can tell.

EDIT:: yup, checked again and it's locked. When is it supposed to open?

I had the same problem but resolved it after revisiting the the budda like visionary seer character sat on his throne, he reveals a scroll from behind his chair (if you do the puzzle there).

I already have the scroll from there.

EDIT:: nevertheless, in my quest to finish it, I have re-visited the old git, and then gone back to the door. It's still locked.

looks like you arent ready to get those yet. you will be able to get the boots, but you are quite a way thru b4 you can.
and you cant get in to the Governors Mansion through the door! {dizzy}:biggrin:

Mmm, can only assume must be another one somewhere you've not acquired although as when I played it unless I missed something I couldn't see any connection or link to why the door would suddenly become unlocked just because you acquired an extra part of the scroll. Didn't make no sense. {yolkfolk}:puzzled:

I'm still stuck though. I've re-visited everyone I can talk to, rowed up and down the river and can't seem to progress any further. I've used all the collectables I can and am left with:

Clean Bowl
Emerald
Snips (used once)
Brown Rabbit
Blue Rabbit
Old lit Lantern
Blunt Dagger
Suitcase
Scissors
Empty Bottle
Old Hatchet
Scuba Gear

Please could someone give me a hint or tip on what I should concentrate on next as I'm all out of ideas (even tried getting the horse droppings into the clean bowl to put on the fire to wake Dozy with the smell!!) {yolkfolk}:scratch:

i can't figure out how to get the scuba gear, i have done loads like the mine cart, the boat, fed the horse among others but this is really stumping me for some reason. i think i have to give daisy something to make a flag but i don't know what........please help. :wall:

i thought the scuba would solve some problems but not so, i used the keys, opened the portals, went everywhere on the boat(i think). i cant figure out how to release the dude beside the brown rabbit or how to get through the door of the shed outside the governers house. any clues would be appreciated. {yolkfolk}:sob:
