Using the mobile to view, checking in

See how I go posting this on my mobile.  Popped back to the forum for a look around after awhile.

I can no longer access the internet from my computer where I have all my dizzy related stuff, all the files, folders, dizzyage and where I made the games and interacted often from going back, mainly why i'm not around much now and from previous reasons with circumstances changing and not the time.  I like to check in occasionally though.

I do have a new laptop windows 11, no dizzy stuff on at all, I don't load it up too often (just when is a requirement) as tend to do what I need to on the mobile if can.  However to come onto the forum etc best on the laptop for me really not on my mobile.  I haven't decided whether to try move all the dizzy stuff onto the laptop or not.

Anyway hello to everyone again :smile:

I've not been doing too bad lately, the only major change in my life at the moment is that I'm also running on a new laptop that has Windows 11, after my old laptop I've been using for the last 11 years decided to bite the dust. Turns out Acer made some really good machines.

Being an old-school gamer, I don't really do anything extreme on the laptop and I still have all my fan game and retro stuff backed up too.
My only major complaint so far is that one of the 'Mystery Case Files' games doesn't work on it. {yolkfolk}:meh:  

I don't post on here as often as I used to, but I still come here from time to time in case anyone does appear, and whenever anyone has a new fan game ready to be uploaded.

Thanks Adz with the welcome and reply :tup:  .

Seems similar with yourself then in many of those respects, new laptop windows 11, in essence many of us probably got forced to do so now. 

I had a new master socket installed in the house, new location so could connect the router directly into for the first time and do away with the very long extension cable running all over using a coupler to another cable to connect to the computer.  As that even older than yours and so not wi-fi I can no longer connect, but functionality was much impacted anyway due to old operating system. 

You do a great job with the forum and with the new fan games you mention, all the assistance and posting up.  Looks to be a reasonable number of new ones and new creators.  

That is a consideration if I try to move everything onto the new laptop will things still work and run ok yes.

If I was to play a new dizzy game, suppose can always download to the laptop, move onto USB, transfer to comp (is more convenient to use) where everything is as an option if a bit long winded or the reverse if was making a new game but that unlikely now although I did have a concept for one more, given the time lapse though would need a period of refamiliarisation :teethy: .
