Amiga - Hidden Credits screen

Thought I'd check this out as I do have all the Dizzy games on my Clionto Amiga emulator ...only to discover that every single one is a cracked version {yolkfolk}:crazy:

It does work on some cracked versions.

The ROM I have it works on has this filename.
Magicland Dizzy (1992)(Codemasters)[cr TRSi].adf

It doesn't work on the 'Dizzy Collection' compilation version though.

Also, here are the tracks contained in the hidden credits, the 4th track is just the Magicland theme.

Derek Leigh-Gilchrist, the coder ... known as Del ... press the DEL key. I see what you did there, Del :smile:

He did alright for himself in the games industry after these humble beginnings. I recall seeing his name popping up in the credits for some pretty high-profile games that I played in the years after our paths crossed at Codemasters, like Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation and LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean.

Anyway, it's nice that he included my design credit - cheers, Del! Was struggling to find that credit anywhere, but there it is - even if my first name is mis-spelled, as usual! Most places seem to think either The Oliver Twins or Big Red Software designed it, but the truth is so much less glamorous: it was the Stock Control Assistant at Codemasters (i.e. me).

It certainly made a pleasant change from ordering another 500 copies of Pro Powerboat Simulator from the duplicators :wink:
