Early game maps, designs and notes

I stumbled across a gallery showing off very early map designs and various notes of "Dizzy 7" (later becoming Crystal Kingdom) on Moby Games.

It looks like it was originally planned to be a completely different game, what with the Ice mountain, different characters and objectives etc.

Someone should make a game using those notes.

Could that possibly be for a NES version? like they did with Wonderland or the other one (forget it's name)
