Need some help

Hello, i am new here but im playing Dizzy fantastic with NES emulator. Dizzy was my first game 20 years ago and now its fun to play on smartphone.
I am googling in the net and i have some trouble to get into some places/ grab items.
First: Where to use a key with skull?

First: You get it by getting to the end of the mine cart ride. You won't need it until you get into Zak's Cloud Castle.

Second: The winch is on the pirate's ship (bring your rope).

Third: You can't get it until you find an item in the Troll's castle.

Fourth: No, but you can throw three rocks in to raise the water level. It's just a shortcut but it's really difficult to make the jump so your better off just going around the long way.

Fifth: You will get an item to open the hatch later.

Ok Thx. I am confiused because of one reason. I used a Pick to dig a bouble from underwater and now i have no Pick. So how to get to grave yard's underground to get bucket of water?

A different item is used for that. You'll know it when you find it.

Word of advice: make sure that the star down there isn't the last one you pick up. I've never been able to figure out how to get back up out without having to kill myself. And if the last star is down there, when you die you will get put back to where you got it instead of the entrance, and are permanently stuck. They fixed it in the later versions.

I was in trolls castle and in zaks castle - i need bucket of water to Extinguish the fire in zaks castle. I have no item to get to the underground grave yards

Job well done. Thanks for advices. The game is hard to play and i think it is almost impossible to finish without saves. Last time played 20 years ago without konwalge of English at polish clone of NES called Pegasus.
I will try other Dizzy games.

And if the last star is down there, when you die you will get put back to where you got it instead of the entrance, and are permanently stuck. They fixed it in the later versions. Although you can't carry the trampette onto the entry platform in the first version, you can still use it to escape the cave without dying. Place it to the left of that entry platform so you can bounce up onto that, then jump back down onto the trampette to get a high enough bounce to pass through the mouth of the cave. (It's also possible to mash the A button while jumping in front of the trampette in such a way that you get a high enough bounce, but I think that's considered a glitch.) I was unaware that the final star set a new respawn point, though--I'll have to look into that!
