Here we go with another help thread for one of Grandad's maddeningly difficult games...
I've got a lighter, candelabra, brown mushroom and a metal pipe. I think what I need to do is find the sixth and last white shell-shaped symbol, which I assume will let me through the door which is currently blocked by the same symbol, with five of its segments filled in.
If anyone's done this yet, please give me a (not very subtle) hint!

Hooray another Grandad game. Started this yesterday and have reached the same place as Armarog. Played one of Grandad's games, earned five points and pushed a button but can't for the life of me work out what pushing the button has done. Any hints anyone?
Anyone found the coin or library yet?

Easier said than done!!! I think I've been in each version of every hut 3 or 4 times and still no joy. i also can still not work out what the button did in the mini game (but is that important?). Please could I have clue?
Have you been in the huts and turned on the lights?
I've been in all the huts and turned on all the lights, so they're all flashing. But like Sparkles, I'm not getting anywhere with the green hut. I can't jump through the walls or get on the roof or action anything in there. Help!
Where might you hang your coat?

Erm...if it was cold and raining I would go inside the hut? But I've examined every part of the green hut, inside and outside, and I still don't get it!

Thanks for the clue. I was on the right track but just hadn't done enough. Have moved along nicely since but stuck now. I've found the dollar and used it. Heard a little noise, gained 5 points but can't work out if it's done anything else. I've placed all the mushrooms and items I have are, lighter, candelabra, metal pipe and a boulder. Can't get any of them to work anywhere so I'm stuck again and i can't find a pot for the seeing potion. I'm sure there are many people further on than me so if anyone is willing to give a hint I'd be grateful.
After picking up the the pink and orange linking books, i am stuck. I don't know where to activate the orange book, think I have clicked everywhere twice lol. Cannot find the coin either.Any hints please would help.

Go back to the library and investigate the podiums.

Quiggie, I can't believe I'm ahead of you. If you look closely at the hut doors, there are buttons to open them. I can't remember if I did something to get the first one to work but try each one in each section and quadrant and that should get you further.
