I just knew I'd be the first to post on the help thread!!
Items I have are:- scuba, bucket of water, gold cross, sharp dagger and a candle. I have 35 diamonds although I can see at least three others but can't get to them yet. I can't get into the castle and I'm pretty sure I need rope in the East Forestbut despite going over and over well trodden ground I can't find any.

Please, please could I have a hint so that I can spend a wet Sunday afternoon playing!

Hi Sparkles, the area to the left, underneath the well is the same as in the original game in that you can go left into a secret room and then up into another area to get the castle key ..and press the button (by the edge of the well shaft) to get the fans in the walls working to move a cloud to the well.

Thanks grandad, that's got me a bit further (I just hadn't jumped in the right direction!). Sadly I'm stuck again. I now have 43 diamonds the scuba gear, sharp dagger, gold cross, candle, and Zaks Wizard Hat. I still can't reach the other ledge in the east forest and I'm sure I've missed something vital. Just a thought, are the mermaid, leprechaun and troll just for decoration or do they need to be given things?

Hey Sparkles you need to visit the village well & do some cloud hopping left then: drop down in the screen with the moon, take the knife & make sure your wearing the scuba

Thanks Quiggie, you seem to help me out a lot! Guess what, I'm stuck again. I managed to get the pickaxe on my own but despite trying in every location above and below water, including the secret stash I can find nowhere to use it so, reluctantly, I'm asking for help AGAIN.

Ok so go back & jump on the cloud above the well & keep jumping to the right, you'll get to where you need to use that item.

Thanks Quiggie. I now have 47 diamonds and 2 candles, gold cross, Zak's hat and the Scuba gear. I tried everywhere to use the double item without success and I still can't work out how to get across the gap in the East Forest. I'm going round and round in circles now and have tried all the clouds I can. Please could I have some more help?

Not sure but i think you need to go back into the castle & find wood & hairbrush, also did you go left on the clouds at the top of the ladder, there is a lever on the storage roof?

-Lower bird in the village hall flies behind the exit door.
-There is no way to get out if you jump down to the fluffberries without having/having used the item you need to get out.
-You can light the right candle three times to win without doing the other two things.

Finished!!! Thanks again Quiggie, I really didn't think you could just walk past the dragon. Another clever game Grandad with lovely graphics and I really enjoyed the cloud hopping. Like Quiggie, I'm looking forward to the next one (no pressure!!).

Glad you all enjoyed this little game. I can't claim credit for the graphics as I used snap shots from the original game to make them.

Sigh, I was really hoping for zero bugs in this one. One day I'll get it right first time! Mind you, I don't follow how Sparkles got Zaks' hat before getting the lighter (unless it was pure luck in jumping over that spike in the dark).

In case you're interested, I'm currently working on a puzzle that involves staircases that move when you enter the rooms they reach (must have been watching too much Harry Potter!)

Just started playing this and have found a bug that Sn Trooper missed!
I have gone to the East Island, and got stuck below a ledge with a diamond on the high right hand side on a room with seaweed in it two screens down and two screens to the right of the entrance.
It seems a bit odd to me, playing a Grandad game that hasn't got lots of talking to the NPCs and gags in it. But still enjoying it whilst grooving to SRV. Thanks Grandad.

That's cos it's a copy F&H, so was trying to keep to the spirit of the original. My next effort will be more like my usual quirky stuff (I prefer to add a touch of personality rather just picking up objects and using them).

The weather's awful and I was bored. No lovely new Grandad game to play and then I found this little beaut. I've done quite well but as per usual I'm stuck. I've got 29 diamonds, a sharp dagger, scuba gear and a bucket of water. I need a key for the castle. I've found an Irishman and a mermaid and I can see what I think are flippers high up in a tree that I can't reach. I can also see a branch where I think I could use some rope (if I could find it).

If anyone has solved any of the above and is willing to help I'd be exceptionally grateful. My poor right hand is beginning to ache through tapping the keys :lol:
