Crowbar (used twice), Clockwork Mouse, 60 Watt Light Bulb, Fishing Rod, Dead Herring, Walking Stick, Magic Bull, Empty Tankard, Butterfly Net, Brass Candlestick, Cucumber, Football, Balloon, Scissors, Toilet Brush (used), Camera, Liquorice Allsorts, Custard Recipes and given one item (Gold Fish) to Troll. I know where to use the liquorice and recipes but I'm not sure if I should right now.
It doesn't matter SnTrooper, the game isn't totally linear so there's no strict order in getting the five gold items. Also, you only lose an item when it's not needed any more (and all items are used, some more than once). Often, more than one action is needed to complete a particular puzzle as you found out with the gnome (after giving him what he needs, you need to discover the 'mine' is abandoned before the shop opens). The only real way to screw up is to run out of money by continually buying the man in the pub drinks (but that is where the 'magic bull' comes in handy).
Giving the liqourice to the right person makes a new character appear. The custard won't be 'available' until you have a reason to get some (and you have to leave that 'street' and come back when you have the reason - my bad, should have just made it finding the reason, not leaving the street as well).
Yeeeeeeha for once i finished a Grandad game without needing help {yolkfolk} . That was another great game to play Grandad thanks, didn't think there was going to be anything a bit rude till i ran around with the cucumber {yolkfolk}:redfaced: . Thanks again, looking forward to more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sparkles, your posting appeared whilst I was typing my last reply. The clue for the money is that the violinist has lost his bow down the well ...and it's not there when you get to the bottom of the well.

Thanks Grandad, trust me to miss something like that! Off on a spending spree now!
Thanks Grandad. Finished now great game as always.
And the obligatory ( {yolkfolk} ) errors I found: ~Screen to the right of the mountain top is blank. ~After sending the woman off to find a musician she is still in the doctor's waiting room. ~Game crashes after picking up bull after placing it correctly.
And one question, what is the answer of the "exclusion" sign mean? All the others I either knew or after I got it right realized/looked up what it was. But that one I just can't figure out.
Thought a 'non bug' game at the first attempt was too good to be true. The 'exclusion' sign is part of the three 'coloured signs' - the sign is black as in 'blackball' to reject somebody. Perhaps it's a British thing.

Of course. :wall: I just wasn't thinking of it as one of the color signs. Not a British thing. Now "Daft as a _____" on the other hand, I've never heard in my entire life.
I have a reason to find the custard and something to put it in but I have searched all over and can't find it anywhere. I'm also struggling to find what to use to get the bungee keys from the sleeping man. Could someone give me a hint please?
Sparkles, you need a 'genuine' dwarf tankard to fill with custard and you'll be tickled pink when you get the keys from the sleeping guard {dizzy}
Thanks for the clue Grandad but I've tried all the objects I have on the man. I only have an ordinary tankard and I tried taking it to the dwarf shop but it was no use. I'm well and truly stuck now and have been running around trying to see if anything has changed but no luck. Could I have some more help please?
Found the feather now and got the pipe but still stuck with the tankard!!!!
Thanks SNTrooper and Grandad. I've got a long list of items including a violin and bow. I've found the place in the library but can't find the object to fill it. I've looked everywhere and tried objects everywhere too. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious but I'm afraid I need more help please.
Sparkles have you been back to the school and banged the gong (a particular item is needed for this) but a big hunk will have told you this, if so go looking everywhere there again.
