Modern games similar to Dizzy?

But Gary, they have tried. There was the little ios game a couple of years ago, and then the Olivers tried a Kickstarter for a new game which sadly failed to meet its target.

Not exactly like Dizzy - but there are games that still represent the more innocent side of gaming, with a bit of humour, story telling, the need to use your brains, fun character interactions, quests, 'fetch and carry', etc.

Although they're not all very modern anymore - I think some notable examples are:

MySims Agents - Wikipedia 

Professor Layton - Wikipedia 

Animal Crossing - Wikipedia

I've played the first two loads, and I really enjoyed them (and when I think about it - possibly a bit of influence in Ko Tapu - Spy Story from My Sims, and the Dream Machine is a bit Layton puzzleish)

I've never played Animal Crossing, but I certainly prefer to see my kids playing this than Fortnite.
