Can anyone recommend a decent Speccy emulator that's free? Spectaculator seems great from the trial, but they want a ridiculous £16.50 for the full version!!! WTF??? Ok, so it includes a copyrighted ROM, but hey...
I have utterly brilliant Commodore, Amiga, Sega, Nintendo, even Playstation emulators that work excellently and are all free and most of them open-source, why should I pay that whopping price for a Speccy emulator?
So, any recommendations? A great +2 or +3 emulator would be fantastic.
But yeah as Andy said, go for ZXSpin, and there's also EmuZWin which doesn't seems to work well on Vista.

It is rather retarded having to pay for an emulator, especially a Spectrum one.

{yolkfolk}
I know, I got a REAL +2 cheaper than that, with about 300 games... Including the two Dizzy box sets, still with boxes!
Right, I'll give ZXSpin a whirl.
Thanks guys...

Hi Mataeus,
I noticed the topic isn't that old so I wanted to recommend a very good Speecy emulator that I use. Check it out here.
Btw, hello to you all!
